In this talk we will look at the benefits of developing a mindful self-pleasuring practice. We'll discuss the societal stigma around masturbation, explore the connection between self-pleasuring and self-love and you will be offered a neat guideline with tips to start (or add to) your own self-pleasuring practice.

In essence, mindful self-pleasuring supports our ability to stay grounded and present in intimacy, it expands our capacity to navigate deep orgasmic states and it has profound empowering effects, due to:

- Gaining greater awareness of our body's responses and our anatomy of arousal

- Releasing shame, guilt and limiting beliefs around our pleasure - Improving our communication in intimate interactions

- Greater confidence in asking for what we want, and what we don't want
